Dan HENDERSON: ONE FIGHT LEFT ON UFC CONTRACT

From Fighthq.com

Former PRIDE Middleweight (under 205 lbs) Champion Dan Henderson confirmed today that has one fight remaining on his current contract with the UFC.

Henderson, who lost a title unification bout with UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton Jackson earlier this month, indicated he could be ready for a return to the Octagon by November. Though UFC officials are said to be encouraging the former Olympian to move down to the promotion's 185-pound division, Henderson indicated he would like to remain at light heavyweight.

Henderson (22-6) defeated Wanderlei Silva for the PRIDE middleweight crown in February, becoming the first mixed martial artist in history to hold titles in two weight classes simultaneously. He still holds the PRIDE welterweight (under 185 lbs) title and could conceivably square off with UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva in a pay-per-view main event in the near future, provided Silva defeats Rich Franklin at UFC 77 in October.
