It's official, Roger Huerta (19-1) and Clay Guida (22-8) inked a deal last night to fight each other in what will be the main event at the Ultimate Fighter 6 Finale on December 8 at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Guida had this to say about the fight: “I’m going to train for this fight like no other because I know a win over a competitor like Roger in front of a national audience puts me near the top of the division,” said Guida. “Roger is a friend, but when that bell rings it’s going to be all business."
As for a prediction Guida responded, “I’m going to finish Roger. It’s already in my mind that I’m going to make a statement with this fight.”
Both fighters are known for great stamina and aggressive, crowd pleasing styles. The winner of this fight could very well set themselves up for a title shot in early 2008.
