What a difference a year makes. Just last June, Cage Fury Fighting Championships was holding its inaugural event at Boardwalk Hall, in Atlantic City, in front of about 2,000 screaming fans. Fast forward a little more than one year later, and CFF6 is set to explode at The Trump Taj Mahal, in Atlantic City, NJ. The amount of talent on hand is staggering, punctuated by two title fights, as well as a few big names taking the plunge into their first MMA bout ever. October 12th promises to be a night of fights not soon forgotten.

Kimbo Slice vs. Tank Abbot

This fight has “Fireworks” written all over it. Internet superstar, turned Mixed Martial Artist, Kimbo Slice, returns for the second time in Cage Fury to prove that his first win was not a fluke. Kimbo looked far removed from his street fighting persona, which made him an internet legend, in his last fight where he dispatched former Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Ray Mercer, in under two minutes of the first round. He will be taking on Heavy-handed MMA legend David “Tank” Abbot who has amassed a record of 9 wins and thirteen loses spanning over his 12 year career. Tank looks to redeem himself as he has lost his last three fights in various organizations. However, Tank has proven time and time again that you should never count him out as he can end a fight with just one punch.
